Ft. Lauderdale, Florida opens the show Surreal Impressions, with fine art photography by Paul Biddle, Steve Bingham, Michael Mollick, David Nitsche, Dominic Rouse, and myself - Madalina Iordache-Levay. The exhibition is curated by Helyn of Pixiport.

I will have about 10 pieces in the show, of which 5 large format giclee fine art prints. And I will be present at the opening, along with some of the other artists in the show.

I am proud to have won the first place in the 27th Annual Spring Photography Contest sponsored by Photographer's Forum magazine and Canon. Therefore, you will find my winning image in the November/Winter issue of Photographer's Forum magazine and in the book entitled Best of Photography Annual 2007, edited by Serbin Communications.
My first appearance in a US gallery will happen in Chicago on July 20th, at the 33 Collective Gallery: Tangled Angels I will be part of the 3rd Annual Self-Portrait Exhibition. The gallery is located at the Zhou B. Art Center • 3rd Floor • 1029 W. 35th St.
The exhibition will run until August 10th, with the opening reception on July 20th from 7 to 10 pm.

Two of my works, In My Other Life and The Suicide were included in Expose 5, the finest digital art book, edited by Ballistic Publishing (Australia).
In my Other Life received the Excellence award in the Horror & Surreal category.

I placed 2nd in The 5th Annual Photoworkshop.com Digital Imaging Contest Sponsored by Adobe, in the Photo Illustration category. Read more in Double Exposure magazine. My winning image was Sunset Over the Ocean.
I was invited by deviantART to display my artwork on a huge screen projection, along with other artists based in South Florida, in the opening of the BT & Thomas Dolby Concert, part of their American tour. The event took place in the Revolution club in Ft. Lauderdale.

My picture The Suicide is featured on the cover of the Romanian Photo magazine, the July-August 2006 issue, under the theme Personal Paradises. I am also featured in the Interview of the month section, 10 pages of pictures and words.
